The mission to Negros Occidental started in 2004 and has run annually except during the COVID pandemic. Aloha Medical Mission works hand-in-hand with the regional government and the amazing St. Scholastica Bacolod Alumnae Foundation, Inc. This mission has occurred at 5 different hospitals in Negros Occidental, most recently in the cities of Valladolid and Bago City for the past 4 years.

February 8-15, 2025

In partnership with The Cagayan Valley Association of Hawaii, Aloha Medical Mission has been to Tuguegarao City People’s General Hospital for a total three missions. The February 2025 mission had a combination of pediatric clinic, dental clinic, outpatient minor surgery, and major surgery. The local hospital staff and government officials were pivotal in the successful mission. The team anticipates the next mission for February 2027.

November 18-22, 2024

The Aloha Medical Mission to Kayapa, Philippines was a unique mission where the dental team drove to a new location each day of the mission. The regional government team was able to facilitate the dental mission 5 very different villages: Besong, Alang Salacsac, Pingkian, Acacia, and Nansiakan. In addition to the dental work, the team was able to fit a prosthetic hand for one of the villagers.

September 19-29, 2023

The Nepal mission began in 2010 and has occurred biannually since. This mission team is composed of medical and non-medical volunteers from the U.S. and Nepal, who collaborate to care for hundreds of patients in the eastern hill region of the country. Nepal has one of the highest rates of uterine prolapse in the world, and he team works seamlessly with the supportive local government to provide a high-impact surgical mission for these challenging medical problems.
