Providing Life-Changing Healthcare at No-Cost to Medically Underserved People in Hawai’i and Around the World
Transforming Lives, Giving Hope
This Filipino woman presented with a massive tumor that had been growing for over 40 years, originating from her left cheek salivary (parotid) gland. She said we were the first doctors she had ever seen in her life. A 3-hour surgery was successfully performed by 2 surgeons specialty-trained to operate in this complex area of the body. She was discharged after only 2 nights in the hospital (photo on right immediately before discharge). Read more about her story here.
